Diemwest

Diemwest is where all of my favorite things get to mingle—surfing, design, illustration, and a lifelong love for the coast. It’s my personal creative outlet and a space to work in a more authentic, illustrative voice than my professional work in tech typically allows.

I’ve been making shirts for as long as I can remember. Early on, the sayings were dumb and the screen printers were expensive—but the impulse was always the same: make something I’d want to wear. Today, the ideas are more considered, the tools are more accessible, and the intention is clearer.

The work pulls from everyday coastal moments, surf culture, and a deep affection for the ordinary joys of being near the ocean. Visually, it’s shaped by growing up immersed in 1990s skateboard graphics—World Industries, Blind, Toy Machine—filtered through my own cartoony sensibility and a strong sense of optimism. Diemwest isn’t about overexplaining or polishing things to death. It’s about celebrating the small moments that make life feel good… and sometimes turning them into shirts.

Christmas Collection

Every year, I end up sketching something for the people I care about — friends, family, anyone who loves a good dose of Christmas spirit. From time to time those sketches make their way onto tees and holiday cards.
